Detail-oriented: idea driven.
I am an industrial designer and usability-focused practitioner with experience across medical devices, surgical robotics, imaging technology, ophthalmic systems, and small-batch consumer products. My work sits at the intersection of human-factors reasoning, mechanical problem solving, and hands-on making; from early research and sketch development to prototyping, CAD, and production collaboration.
Across over ten years in fast-paced and highly regulated environments, I’ve learned to balance constraints, advocate for users, and move ideas from concept to functional, testable outcomes. I’m particularly interested in design as an investigative process — using models, prototypes, and iteration to understand how things work and how people interact with them.
